Looks nice, Duke.
2Bridges, why not put more of the support for the gauge on the under side, not above. So there will be less blocking the cluster?

Yes should work with airbag car. I will test fit on a buddy's late car to verify. Also as designed it should be able to be installed without removal of steering wheel.
metal will be 1/8" steel. Is still very light. Can't make in aluminum - a total bitch to weld this thin and I an not setup for aluminum

I made a few early versions icluding one without the supports on inside.... it looked really stupid. Looking like somebody just plopped a couple pods on a flat piece of metal. It is hard to tell from the pics, but when seated in the car from eye level the support portion really does not block anything you want/need to see. this has a much more refined & finished look IMO

actually would have to mount a tab or somthingfor that to mount to. Problem with leaving extra material for you is then the cut is for a single part instead of 10 or 50. most of the expense is in setup.

i could just j&b weld/glue on an L-shaped tab myself or something, so not a big deal. i thought it would look much cleaner if you could do it.
and Mark-87-951; i have the detector itself mounted above the visor, so i can easily reach up to mute it using the button on the detector itself, no need to touch the remote display.

the one guage I really have to move my head to see is the lower 1/3 or so of the gas guage.

Will be matched by a dubble DIN sized panel where the stereo used to be, also covered in matching leather.
The top panel holds the PLX R500 a/f, EGT and knock monitor. The lower will hold 2 analogue 52 mm gauges for oil temp and pressure, a Greddy EBC and turbo timer and a little launch control push button in the middle.
