That looks really nice. It looks like there's only one screw holding it on though, how stable is it?
If you want, I can check what it would cost to make in my local shop (aka my dad's cnc machine in his basement). No promises there since I've no idea how to program it and he's busy making other things on it all the time.

two screw mounting. - pic shows only one, is a second on opposite side, same position.
Is far more solid than any plastic mount I have ever seen. Still reasonably light.
Thanks for offer to check with local shop. I actually have local quiries out for another means of production... may yeild more cost effectiveness.
If those fall through I may hit you up to check for me. Thanks!!

Well, my local shop isn't really a shop as much as a machine setup in his basement. You might want to check out e-machine shop (http://www.emachineshop.com/ ) too. Their prices are very competitive.

The pod mount is very nice indeed. I may consider this route also, as I am not too fond of the guages in the lower DIN position. You, Billthe3, and Van are all to be commended! Very ingenious.

Here's another alternative if you want the panel in a better position.
Will be matched by a dubble DIN sized panel where the stereo used to be, also covered in matching leather.
The top panel holds the PLX R500 a/f, EGT and knock monitor. The lower will hold 2 analogue 52 mm gauges for oil temp and pressure, a Greddy EBC and turbo timer and a little launch control push button in the middle.

Gustaf, looks great.
haven't you ever been in Stockholm Sweden? There is almost as cold as here in Finland, so they even have Polar Bears hangin' around Stockholm's woods....
So no need for vents
i like my vents, and actually use them

Hey Guys/Gals
I got a bid back for cutting bases made from my template. Is more reasonable than before.
for all those that inquired about making these........... still figuring out what it will take, but at this point guestimated final cost is $85 range.
I would plan an initial run of ten minimum.
If anyone is seriously interested at this cost, let me know. If enough interest this could happen.
