How do you unplug the main harness from the code reader thingy

How do you unplug the main harness from the code reader thingy
I am pulling the engine out and I'm 95% there but over near the fuse box where the thick bunch of wires from the DME splits and one goes to the plug (easy to undo) and the other goes into that code reader thing... How do I undo that from the code reader thing or do I just unbolt the whole code reader and take it out to

If you are talking about the round, black plug with the receptacles in it, just push the sucker out. It just fits into the holder from the bottom. Squeeze the sides from the top and push it out.
