So you put 9-10 cars on a Mustang that had 425whp????????????

So your making like 600hp????

Even 425 at the crank, 9-10 cars would put you at 500-550???????

There are too many other factors involved in what makes a car fast, than just going by its HP.

Besides this was a dream.................stranger things happen in my dreams.............

Todd I read about you dream last week with the ws6 I think it was, sooo I totally understand, I just figured I would lose I mean 425 to the rear is a lot, BUT it was from a roll, I think it was like 30 something like that, you should of seen his eyes...........hes a friend but he said that F**ing thing is fast. I talked to him today and he said that he has been looking at more parts so he can raise his boost, I think he said he was running 9 lbs, I thought maybe driver error so we ran several times from a roll at about 30, each time he was there for a sec, the I pulled real hard and left him, and he takes his car to the same dyno, I pulled up his runs on the dyno, well the shop guy did it for me and he was at 425 or 420 at the rear, now he kept telling me he had 500, but I think he ment at the crank, he kept saying that I must be lighter, I will tell you this, in my dream, we all drove back to where we met, there was like 50 people there, and this is on a thursday night, crazy, and some people came up wanted to know what happend, and Big Chris with the Honda told them and several people said no F**g way, they were surprised with the 1 1/2 honda beating me, they EXPECTED him to walk away.........this honda has respect.

Superchargers have no area under curve. peak power is usually peak RPM. max numbers aren't apples to apples and have always been mis-leading.

Hondas make STUPID power. The minimum horsepower we TYPICALLY send out is 300 to the wheels. (Stock everything with turbo kit.) And they weigh nothing. Weight is so paramount in the acceleration equation. Their motors may be small, but the Head design is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay beyond anything else. The RSX motors (KA) with mods are making over 250hp to the wheels!!!. (325 race trim is most I've seen) 2.0 liters, Naturally aspirated. Fathom that. make that equal to our 2.5 liters..... (honda head.) ..... using the LOWER number (250hp from 2 liters) We would have 325hp to the wheels NO BOOST!!!!!!!!!. Then.... as hondas do..... add boost on top of that.
Now you get it.

cant exactly just add heaps off boost to an unmodified honda engine. kinda messes with it being all cost effectiveness... besides that, are the honda engines designed specifically for turbo applications?

let me see a honda engine that lasts 200,000 miles while being turbocharged the whole time.

Right.

Right.

Yes. Did it everyday for years. You can. Heaps. 16psi. STOCK motor with 11:1 stock motor compression. (Yes, blew our minds too 3 years ago.) Made 400hp to the wheels. (1 1/2 years ago) Just added Greddy turbo kit with upgraded Turbo. (Hondata K-pro tuning software) The burn is EXTREMELY efficient. Raced constantly. Car has been sold off since. They took it to 500 and that was the last I heard about it.

Another one made over 600hp to the wheels (Same style stock turbo and kit. but with GT35R) For around 6 months. He wanted 700 (Trying to test the limits of the motor.) He found the limit and blew it. No ones ever happy huh?

200K miles has of course, yet to be seen. But.. I don't think the Porsche can handle twice the power for 200K miles either if that's what you're comparing it to. But..... I love the Porsche also. I'm not saying Honda is better in every way. It is not. The bottom end of these things are incredibly Stout. I'm saying. There is much technology out there. SO .. Don't be suprised at their performance or taken off gaurd if they're faster. But. With the better / more modern mods these cars (951) are getting. They are rarely losing now! Love it.
