Any way you can do a "run what you brung" run and maybe a "same boost" run? Just to see who is getting the most out of X amount of boost.

is anyone going to pursue the pinks thing?
you could make a outside contract that whoever loses the win/ride can buy it back from the winner after the race for $1
so then its a win/win situation....that is unless the whole pinks thing is a load of crap and they both take there cars home win or lose...

Let me Clarify. Not rigged like.... This guys going to win because we said so..... Its rigged in the way of Each car gets a THOROUGH workthrough and is Sure to be extremely even.... Meaning. They ALREADY KNOW that they're even. So all that give me one or two lengths stuff is just F&F hype for ratings. But it truly seems to boil down to the Super sneaky or better driver. WHich is cool and all. But the smoke in my A$$ about 2-3 lengths, or getting a head start is a little more than I can take now that I know.

Porschefile I'll give you 1/2 a lap headstart...race for one lap.
No man, I want more than that...your car has track tires.
Ok, I'll give you 1/2 a lap, I'll run streets
Not fair, I've never been on the track before
Ok, I'll give you 1/2 a lap, run streets and wear my helmet backwards, steering by brail
I don't know...let me ask my supra webboard....they said you are still to fast
Ok, I'll give you 1/2 a lap, run streets, wear my helmet backwards, shift with my left hand, disconnect two plug wires, use one foot only and I'll start with my car facing the wrong direction...you can rolling start at full speed.
Can I have 3/4 of a lap?
Sure...lets race

Hell yeah! I like the way you think! I was beginning to think some people around here have no b@lls!

Maybe we can get Paris Hilton to stage the cars
Dan D. are you interested in an unfinished 66 Mustang GT-350 project in your area? I have a friend who's father passed away 2 years ago with two storage spaces jammed with GT clone parts including a very straight fastback body primed and ready for paint. He even has an early Paxton SC that comes with the deal. There are so many parts and engines in those two storage sheds it's staggers the imagination. After seeing your El Camino in the video I just had to think you might be interested in American iron.

I like this idea a lot! I've done quite a bit of drag racing in mine and am extremely curious what these well prepared 951s can do in the 1/4. In fact I think this has inspired me to take mine back to the brackets tomorrow night!
Best of luck to both of you! Remember, a modified 951 isn't much harder on its drivetrain than a stock one because unless you run some form of anti-lag, you're still just a normally aspirated 2.5 liter 4 when you pop that clutch. Just be careful with the wheel-hope when u hit the boost, that will break things. You might also look into running less negative camber or at least letting some air out in the rear because 500hp cars and street tires need all the help they can get.

Hell why can't we organise a live conference coverage so we can all see this. Now that would be a Rennlist first. Charge people $10 each and beam it into their homes!!!!
C'mon you know that's a good idea.
