Home brewed water IC sprayers?

I am looking to see how all ya ll out there in TV land have done these up? with the summer heat upon us this is something I have been thinking about for a while. So without further ado please share your experinces with these contraptions.

I haven't done it yet, but I eventually plan on moving the headlight washers to in front of the intercooler. I may get fancy and put a seperator in the washer fluid tank so I'm not spraying windshield washing fluid all over the engine bay, but like I said, I haven't done anything more than thinking about it.

I am thinking a simple pump that draws from the washer tank. Simply run distilled water for track days and use this only for combating heat soak of the IC. My goal here is not to really increase horse power, simply keep what I have when things get really warm.
I saw some one gallon per mintue pumps at an Agri-Supply place that were designed for pumping liquid to spray nozzles. Presumably for sparying crops. They were in the $60 to $70 range and ran off of 12 volts.
