boost spiking
hi all,
i'm getting slight boost-spiking in the lower gears, and the car tends to lose boost in the higher rev ranges (most likely to do with the wastegate being old and tired).
anything i can do to help this (short of replacing the wastegate, which i don't want to do right now for various reasons)?
also with the BOV, is the only real failure mode the diaphragm failing and being unable to hold boost? because i've tested the top port to 30 psi and it was fine.
