You're not going to get much parting it.
You're not going to sell it as is for 5k.
If you have nothing but time, finish it and then sell it. You'll get the most out of it.

Money talks!
I would to prefer to sell the car whole,
but if I cannot find a buyer it will be tempting to sell as my bills pile up!

"Money talks!

There are people that can make more money selling their victorian mansion to walmart so it can be flattened, rather than selling it to someone who can renovate.

But luckily there are people who don't destroy history, and there are the ones who find the money to renovate and get a better price.

I realize it's just a car, but they don't make 951's anymore. It'd be nice to save one, just like saving a number of other classic cars.

I've parted a car and I will never do it again..and finishing up a rebuild on a 951.. If you don't have the room/resources to finish repairing the engine you def. dont have the room or resources to part the car unless your willing to pull only a few parts at a time and having people wait for parts..

good luck!

Default Stock or not???

OK.... got her home... need to hear from the peanut gallery....
Should I put it back to 100% stock since it has such low mileage or should I do the Venturi delete, chips, manual boost control, maybe put an LSD or S2 tranny?

even though she has low mileage she did suffer a fire and needs the heat shield and booster replaced or repainted. There is a little body work to go through as well including getting the valance from guards pink back to guards red LOL....

So the question is. STOCK or SLIGHTLY MODIFIED?
Which will have the best resale should I need to sell it?

I am going to say leave it stock. It's nice to see some that are stock these days.

Neither. Strip and make it a race car!

Ok, just kidding. Modify it. These cars are not picking up value as stock examples that I've seen anyway...so make it as fun to drive as you can afford. IMHO of course.
