Funny, if you hadn't seen the front views then that photo from the side just doesn't quite give you the indication of just how wide that body is. Something else looks a bit different too. Must be the rear spoiler?
Having looked again and compared it to my car from the side I would say that the rear is actually longer once past the back wheels. I know the body kit will give it a different line but check it out for yourselves?

It just looks a little tail heavy, as if the axle needs to be moved about a foot back.

Note the SCCA decals on the car, GT2 there, but NOT GT-2 in PCA. If I am to assume the car is turbocharged, then it would exclude it from PCA GT-2 class.

He runs the SCCA run offs almost every year. The car is a 3.0L normally aspirated S2 engine. He has been around a long time running SCCA. I have never seen him run anywhere else and he is always up front running against much more modern cars. He has been my hero for many years. The main reason I watch the runoffs.
