Default Do you put oil on the back side of rod bearing?

I am ready to do the rod bearings on my car. Paragons site says install the bearings with a light coat of oil. Does this mean in between the bearing and the journal or on the bearing surface? Probably stupid question, but I can take it. Plenty of assembly lube on the bearing surface, I know.

No -- dry, clean and grease free on the backs. Don't want them to spin in the rod...

Only if you install the bearing upside down
