Default 89 951 motor for sale

My 89 951 motor overheated and cracked the head. The freeze plug actually blew out. I'm not going to desmantle the motor as I'm building a fresh 3.0 and will not be using ANY of the stuff that's on this motor, including the 55#LR injectors, intake, factory headers, LR wastegate, and whatever else we won't be using. This is a complete longblock with recent timing and cam belts.

This motor is available for sale. The motor was rebuilt about 15K ago with new rings, bearings, etc. I DON"T know the extent of the damage and am selling the motor as is. It will have to be torn down and to find the extent of the damage, so make me an offer. It might be a good motor with some work. It dynoed at 430hp and 350tq about five months ago at 23psi.

It's currently at Speed Force Racing in San Diego.

Thanks,

George

Glad I could help Bret. Got mine back on the Dyno today and I think we have it narrowed down to a fuel delivery problem. Will PM you as we find out more.
We already know how yours will (pan) out... with holes in it!!!! LOL Sorry, I know you guys will come back stronger than before without a doubt and I can't wait to see it. I will be looking for updates on your project.
Take care.
