installed air fuel gauge, pin 24

I know the air fuel gauges are inaccurate in general but with the open slot I figured I'd hook one up anyway (and I hear when your full on the throttle they give good readings).
Anyway, after some searching I found pin 24 was what the wire needed to be connected to. On the DME (big box) there are two much larger green wires. If you take off the connector on the DME all the pins are numbered. On the inside of one of these big green wires is copper wiring as well as a smaller wire thats covered. The a/f gauge wire needs to be spliced into this smaller wire. I figured this info might be helpful to anyone who finds it searching.

The copper wire is shielding for electrical signal interference...just for reference.
