Default Brake Proportioning Valve

Hi,
Just completed my Big Red swap, and I am considering swapping to a different brake proportioning valve, but I have no idea where it is located. I think I found it, below and to the right of the brake booster up against the firewall that may be it, but it well hidden under the a/c plumbing along with some other tubes and pipes. Is this where it is located? Also, any hints on an easy way to access it to swap it out?

Thanks,

Dave

It depends on the year,

some are right on the brake master
others are on the abs unit

Hmmm, been a while since I did the same. My foggy memory tells me it's behind the passenger side wheel well.....but then I make no promises as to the validity of 10 year old data.

It is in the passenger side front fender well. The space towards the door. It is behind the plastic liner. Not much room to work. The Bias valve unit is on top of the ABS unit.

eugene.
