Hello, I am getting ready to repaint my car and plan to replace all of the exterior gaskets, but I cant seem to find an alarm keyhole gasket. Any ideas??

pelican parts or 944online. There are a couple of gaskets you'll have to get from the dealer, the windshield trim pc and what I call the rain gutter insert. Rhob's bill for his car - everything, including stone guards was $1054.00. He even got all the felt around the window.

Ohh, memories! Yes the gutter insert should be changed. Mine had so much paint from the PO's paint job that I didn't even realize that it was a seperate part, LOL.

The rubber lock/alarm gromets are available from the dealer and fairly cheap too. Some of the larger pieces may be cheaper from Vertex although I'd get the sunroof stuff (2 pieces) from the dealer. The cheaper one that I bought just doesn't let the sunroof sit as flush as I would like it to.

BTW, walk around the car about 10 times to do the rubber inventory on a paint job. You'll be surprised at how many trim pieces there are. Rhob's bill is totally believable but in the end makes for a killer job. I've posted a list of pieces replaced when my car was painted. If you search you should be able to find it.

I went through all of that in my repaint too. It is expensive, but everything was still available direct from Porsche. All the small bits are very reasonable.

The plastic alarm lock surround is part number 477 951 251

Behind it is a special washer that is likely pretty oxidized. The part number for that is 477 951 255
