Mine, too. It sounded like a jet engine...very unique...I kinda liked it. Of course, I just discovered that the compressor blades on my turbo are all chewed up, so that could be responsible for the noise.

i think the turbo is stuffed...there is visible play in the shaft. i suspect the shop did not prime the turbo properly .

Chris, If the turbo is not primed properly, as per the instructions, it will not live long.
However, before you declare it damaged do some more testing. There will be some play, I emailed you some specs.

going to take this offline. for the record, this is *no* slight on the turbo from vitesse, i suspect improper installation by the shop.
