Hi everyone! I'm new to this forum, and have one big question: what are some of the best places to look for a 944 turbo? I live in Kansas City, so anything somewhat close to me would be extra helpful.
Thank you for your time!

first of all, welcome to rennlist and good luck in your search
some places to look are:
here on the forums/ in the rennlist classifieds
craigslist
autotrader
cars.com
these are generally the places that I look for 951s; you can also check ebay, but I would personally never buy a car off of ebay unless the seller was local and I could inspect the car myself

Welcome indeed!
In addition to the good suggestions already listed, other forums such as Pelican, who is also a Rennlist sponsor, carry classified ads. I would recommend browsing forum ads as people tend to post in the forums first, and often offer forum members a better deal than the outright sale price.
Regards,
Russell

I'd recommend Porsche Panorama magazine and PML (Porsche Market Letter). Also your local PCA newsletter.
You *may* find a less bastardized, better maintained car through some Porsche affiliated group, but not always, of course! If the seller is part of the Porsche club, then he or she is more likely to have a network of Porsche mechanics and fellow owners, which increases the likely hood that you'll get a good car.

Meesha,
You might want to check out the KC Wrenching Society at www.kcws.org. We've been known to wrench on and own a 951 or two...![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

9fitty1's car is a great car for the money, I strongly considered buying it as it is turn key and has some great upgrades. I settled for one that is having major surgery done as we speak and does not run yet! His car is a great car for the money.
