Another Fuel Pressure Gauge Question
I searched for info on this but all I came across was pretty general so was wondering if someone could offer more specific info.
Basically going thru the steps of trying to troubleshoot a no start condition and need to verify my fuel pressure. I’m aware of the 9x and Lindsey solutions but hate to waste the money on that when I would really prefer to use an electric gauge and keep it mounted in the cabin permanently. So a few questions;
1) Do the electric (transceiver type) fuel pressure senders (such as Autometer) need any other type of adapter to work with the stock fuel rail? If so please specify which.
2) Can anyone verify the size, threat pitch and seat type of the fuel rail port (from other threads I believe the size to be 12mm, concave seat but have no info on thread pitch)?
3) As far as cheap solutions such as FP test gauges like those sold by AutoZone etc. does anyone have a specific model that would work on the stock fuel rail?
Thanks in advance
BTW- As an alternative, if anyone has an extra fuel rail test port cap they want to sell cheap please PM me.

I am thinking of getting the Prosport Gauge with electronic sender so I can have it in the car... I am fighting a tough no-start when very cold out issue, and instead of buying a FPR right off the bat, was thinking of the fuel pressure gauge to see if I even need an FPR or dampener... Thanks Modded.
*edit*
Will one of these fit the end of the rail?

Random old threads seem to indicate that...
"The nipple on the rail is 12x1.5 mm thread."
*edit*
That's great Dave W. Best way to convert that to 1/8 NPT...

9x has the ~$45 adapter to go from the rail to 1/8npt... pretty, big, pricey (kind of).
