...what's that, the music is starting to play, better talk faster, I still haven't thanked my parents or even God. Quick it's getting louder. I wonder what this 6'7" Amazon next to me is doing after the show. OOh she's grabbing me and yanking me backstage. I'd ask her out but she can't hear me speak over the band and I don't think she can actually see me down here. Ah well, can only dream.

EDIT: I guess spending ages downloading all these photo's that only appear as links shows that I haven't got a grip on how to load them visibly. Sorry...

Thanks Royal. How'd you do that so quickly? I was still going in and re-editing some of the pic's that didn't get captured so while you were converting them to images they didn't get picked up. I have since re-downloaded them. It's 2 shot's of the head from top and bottom view. Inbetween the turbo under wraps and the larger t-body. If you can squeeze them in I'd be appreciative.

I assume you are using Dave's dry sump system? So where is his pan? And why are you using the AOS when his kit comes with the delete plugs?

Looking good though, that thing should rip!

Derek,
We haven't yet decided upon where the best place to put the oil tank is. So currently it's not on the car yet, hence no photo's. It is going on sometime later this year. It's a fair bit more complex than a straight race car application. So maintaining the p/s, a/c, and stock alt. is one hurdle which Dave has negotiated. The next is the oil tank. We may just surprise some people on where it ends up. Remembering on R.H.D. cars we don't have the same room as you do in some cases.
The car should be started for the first time since the last trackday in November, tomorrow. Then a few days shakedown and some bit's n pieces still to go on.
If you've ever flown to Australia or somewhere far, far away, you will remember how long it seems to take, especially if you're not a good sleeper. Plus for some completely unknown reason except maybe masochism, they put that stupid chart up showing your current GPS position. You know the one that never seems to move? Well this is how it's felt not having my car. I'm sure there are many of you out there who can relate. It just seems to take an eternity. Not really anyone's fault. Just the time of year and the tyranny of distance.
Oh yes, the car should RIP!!!!!!!!

Last I heard, Dave had a badass solution for retaining all accessories. I'm not sure how recently you've talked with him but if it wasn't recent...give him a hollar.

Good luck with startup, hope all goes as planned.

Thanks Derek. Yes I have spoken to Dave recently and everything is coming along nicely.
By the way, how do you change your avatar to one of your own pic's? I've tried to shrink the image down and save it as a Jpeg but while the pixels come down, the kbytes stay the same? I'm confused but that's not hard...

It's called IrfanView. I'm sure it's ok and just me being an idiot but I've tried following some directions given to me to no avail.

Patrick,

I didn't realize you were keeping a/c, p/s...it's a street car!!

Just kidding, friend!

By the way, my wheels are actually working...Hoosier 275/35/18 up front and 315/30/18 in the rear. No rub to speak of and no spacing needed either. Just good old fashioned luck, I guess.

I sold my other set to a fellow who has a 944 variant, and he can't quite get the same rubber under his car; so the 968 must be slightly different.

Hope to hear of your track exploits soon!

Jason
