Default OT-my training/weightloss

For those of you who don't have access to offtopic area or who have no idea about my training. I just wanted to say today I have officially lost 200lbs and after 9 1/2 months of hard work its starting to show. Currently 20%BF and going to hit 10% by july. Do about 40-45 miles a week not to mention all the calstinicts I do and some light weight training. I'm thinking if I train hard enough for another year I could be ready for a ironman..as I already can do 50+ miles easy on jogging and biking i've done double that in a week. Swimming is what I would need to work hard on. I think the Ironman has you swim 20+ miles.

Here's some quick before and current.
chest 46'
waist 38'
shoulder to shoulder 56'
biceps-16'

For those of you that can. You can post up you're thoughts and opinions in my offtopic thread that has been ongoing since early july 06'

Well done! The transformation is remarkable. Enjoy your new life man!

My uncle lost about 200lbs as of November 06.
There are a million little things he shared that has been really neat. Fewer beltloops, can tie his own shoes, has more eneryg than he has had his entire life, several shoe sizes smaller, etc, etc.

I literally walked by him on a few ocasions and had no idea it was even him
Good stuff, and sincere congratulations to you my friend!

Congrats! x eleventy billion

What was the incident that caused all of this? You mentioned a near death experience in the other thread, but didn't say anything about it.

Yeah I almost died one year ago this month. My asthma had gotten outta controll cause my weight was outta controll. I was in ICU and had a system crash. Luckily I was already hooked up. lol. Otherwise I may not be here today. So thats what brought all this on.

btw my asthma is nearly completely gone at this point. I really don't have attacks anymore at all. Sometimes I may get a slight shortness of breathe but, its nothing like it used to be.
