Anders,
If the 8mm are for the fuel lines, what do you need the 10mm for?

Cheers

inlet & return has different size, one has 8, other has 10.

$90 for 2 alu ones is kinda pricy. but at least its a backup.

John, Let me get this straight........vendors are buying parts that are for the most part available locally and reselling them for almost double for a few minutes worth of work? How can this be allowed to happen without them being attacked, copied, or undercut?

No direct links. Motion sells thousands of parts. Here's the deal. You can set up an account with europower except that's a real pain. Find your local motion distributor and give them a call. Many places don't even know they're a distributor for Europower so be sure to tell them. Give them the europower part numbers and they should be able to order it for you. I've made about 30 sets of these for out of state friends and local guys and I got all the compression fittings from Motion.

The Jm-0610-TL fitting can be a pain to get from Europower sometimes as they "say" they have to get it made if it's not in stock. in that case you can use the JM-0810-TL fitting (what's used if you want to use a -8 line to the dampener) and get an -8 to -6 reducer from Jegs. I always order an extra bite ring to keep handy in case you ever have to pull it off.

wow, thanks! haveing a friend in the US look into local dealers now, really appreciate it, I allready spent hours trying to figure it out, so props to jh and you!

fuel rail is is core from injector.com and it will have no damper, just a 90 degrees and a 180 degrees. reg is also AN allready, so when I get the last fittings It should be all good. but as for the rest running stock setups here, they will probably appreciate you mentioned the parts.

Service. Most car guys don't want to go to the freakin bolt store. I tried to go to Fastenal, they are not open outside of weekday biz hours. That sucks for those of us with day jobs. So people order it with their car parts. Not to mention the warranty. What happens when you screw up and burn up your car?

Or other people who don't want to build fuel lines, but just want to buy them ready to go. I've definitely learned some jobs, while very much possible to DIY, are just better to let someone else do.

It may not be for you or me, but what about someone who bills $250 hours. Is it worth it for them to waste 3 hours building fuel lines? Nah.

At least Vitesse is up front about it!

Hah, I think you missed the sarcasm in my post. What I was really trying to say is that the same people who call John a crook for his prices and are the self proclaimed “951 parts price police” are taking 15 minutes worth of work and making 100%. I have nothing against people who pay for something as long as they’re happy with it. I’m glad there are guys out there who do the R&D for me and I’m glad to pay for it. I don’t have the time in my life to spend two years watching my car sit on jack stands because I want to spend umpteen hours researching turbo’s (that may or may not perform) to save a $1000.

BTW, if you think some of the vendors who sell these lines will be responsible for your car if you catch fire you have another thing coming. I’ve put together about 20 of these kits and they take about 15 minutes to assemble.

I know, I'm just saying. Some of our vendors are stand up people and will go to great lengths to take care of customers. I wouldn't expect them to cover a car fire but from what I've seen Vitesse makes good stuff and stands behind it

And I needed me beer at the time... so I was being way too literal I guess. Meh.
