If you buy it from a third party or some other place your going to have to do a lot of leg work yourself. You'll need to figure out how to wire the system into the existing harness, enter the correct parameters for our car into the SMT-6 and come up with a base map to get yourself started.

With that said, if you don't feel you have the expertise to tackle this endeavor I would suggest turning to a vendor like Vitesse for a piggyback solution. They will provide you with the necessary information to make the system essentially plug and play.

You can get it directly from the manufacturer:

support is John's middle name, he has spent hours helping us out. the SMT6 and chip was spot on needing little tuning to suit the state of our engine. i would recommend him on our experience.

Part of what you are paying for with any vendor is the support and with John specifically. He is king of helping out his customers, that is no kidding. I have always gotten answers back from him very quickly to my questions.

When I fianlly pony up for the SMT6 It will be from him.
