Default Hose clamps

How many of you have blown off a charge pipe? Well thanks to a fellow RTR member he showed me what he is using on his tuned 993 TT. They are Volvo turbo diesel truck clamps. They have this trick torque sustaining bolt that maintains consistent torque setting despite temperature changes. I have marked it with a paint pen and so far no movement while tracking at 30 degrees.

T-bolt clamps? They are typically used on Marine boat exhaust pipes, but big on Turbo charged cars also. They can hold 29psi on my friends DSM, the connecting rods couldnt handle it though..

here we get some special ones at shops that sell hoses, they have a spring-system builting loading them to right tension, and you tighten on 2 bolt on each, will see if I can put up a pick, almost $10 a pop though.

Way overkill for what our application can handle.

Use a quality SS clamp with rolled edges and clean mating surfaces, done deal.

The first pic is close to the ones I have but I have a sealed bolt housing. Having blown the German OEM clamps off at WGI and VIR, Man clamps are the only way to Fly.
