Head work is only necessary if the head is warped. Basically what i would do is bring the cylinder head to a machine shop, have them replace the valve guides, stem seals and a valve job. I would then just tell them to check the cylinder head to make sure its flat and if it does need machine work, mill off the least possible amount. Ask them to hot tank / acid bath the head and it will come back looking like new (they will probably do this automatically).

Buy the Gasket from Performance Developments. 949 646 7461. I am pretty sure they will have the largest selection in stock. Different sizes and thickness. They will also be able to help with how to install, Head repair recommendations as they have a full machine shop in house that does nothing but very high end race work. If you want the best help, this is the place to go. Its a phone call!

If you feel like doing major headwork, lindsey offers some cool sounding stuff through their website. Did andial not touch the head when they built the car?

Getting the cylinder head freshened up makes a difference.
New guides, seals, valve seats and springs restors anything lost up there.
I definately felt more response and smoothness with a refreshed cylinder head.
