Question center cassette armrest cover

i've searched for this and can't find it, which was surprising.

my center cassette / armrest cover finally broke at the plastic hinge. i'm wondering if there's an easy replacement and/or fix for it. i was considering getting some small door hinges and screwing it in place, but was hoping there's a better fix.

i've seen the cup holder replacements, but would prefer to keep it as a storage location for sunglasses, gloves, coins, etc.

i've also seen the open-storage replacement, but it needs to have a cover.

In Automotion you can get just the hinge piece and cover it yourself (wife did this for me).

Or you can buy the hole cover now also from Automotion; but it is like $100 or so for the whole hinge and cover.

You can reuse the old cover.

The hinge is only £12.00 about $23.00 from Porsche main dealer. The lid unscrews with crossheads.
I used to sell these on ebay for a joke for up to $70.00 and people thought they were getting a bargain!! Try Sunsett Porsche, they seem to be good in the US

You need your own hinge to go with this. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB..._promot_widget

Just for reference...I replaced my plastic hinge POS and within 3-4 months, probably opened it 20-30 times, the hinge started to crack again.
