Default TDC reference

When at TDC is the reference sensor screw supposed to align up with the sensor? Someone was complaining a while back that the fidanza flywheel reference mark was off by an inch compared to the stock flywheel. I think I may have the same issue. When at TDC the reference sensor mark on the flywheel is about 4 teeth off from the cam TDC mark. This would explain my idle issues.
Can someone please confirm.. quickly..

The sensor aligns with the screw at 58.5 degrees before TDC.

Great. Thanks for the Info. I might be okay after all.

Any idea how many cam teeth 58.5 degrees relates to?

The cam rotates at half speed than the crank does. Meaning the crank should be at 58.5/2 degrees (29.25) before the TDC mark. I don;t know how many teeth the cam gear has.

(360 / 29.25) = (Total cam teeth / X amount of teeth you want to know)

meaning

X amount of teeth you want to know = (360/29.25)*(Total cam teeth)

There are 40 teeth on the cam. I think you meant
X amount of teeth you want to know = (360/29.25)/(Total cam teeth) instead of multiply. Which comes out to .3

Wait, my maths not reliable right now... I believe I put it all backcwards.

29.5/360 = x / 40

x = 3.something
