Question What type fitting adapter?

I have lindsey racing vacuum hose kit and have just pulled off the crimped piece from the banjo bolt with the connected rubber hose. What adapter piece would you use as the banjo barbed fitting is way too big for the vacuum hose.

you're not supposed to use the vacuum hose kit for the banjo bolt hose. that's the wastegate signal line, it's not a vacuum line.

I was told to use the hose that came with my MBC. It’s the same as the silicone hose in the LR vacuum hose kit. Are you saying not to use this hose when hooking up the MBC to a TiAL Wastegate...?
What does everyone use then?

Thanks

i assume you're talking about the thin-wall silicone tubing that comes with the lindsay vacuum kit? i dunno what hose came with your MBC but there's no way the lindsay vacuum kit hose would fit over the banjo bolt. it's not intended for that, i think the walls are too thin.

Don't know if this helps you. If you're not using the original wastegate, you can remove the hose barb on the top of it and use it instead of the banjo bolt.

I haven't tried it yet but plan to whenever I get back to working on my car.

The MBC kit frm Lindsey uses the same silicone hose as their vacuum kit. In the instructions it says to run a hose from the banjo bolt on the intercooler pipe to one side of the mbc. That hose is not large enough to fit the barbed end of the banjo bolt. I am using a stock wastegate for now and the silicone hose fits fine on the top of that.

I went down to my local advanced auto parts and picked up a length of fuel line hose for $5 and haven't had any problems so far.
