No offense taken from anyone - you gotta try REAL hard to get my panties in a wad - gotta be thick skinned to be here......

Anyway, yes - I have Solidworks - and an engineer as a family friend.

Yeah that was all I was saying. A failure could get someone killed. Then starts the law suit, which will involve professional engineers who are also professional witnesses...yada yada yada. Aluminim will seem dirt cheap should that happen. I'm all for a good inexpensive alternative! Hell Yeah!

I'd be interested. How would the weight and strength compare to the stock ones and the other offerings?

As long as the proper consideration is given to strength I would be very interested. Consider turn 12 at Road Atlanta, downforced race car, 275's on the front, turned in heavy and hit the curbs. Brother, do keep in mind that if something like this were to fail....your entire life will be forfeit to the gang of lawyers coming to see you. Perhaps you are covered by the race part clause...but then again you have to go to court to prove that....which still means loads of money.

That said, I would buy a set if they are stout....my life rides on them kind of stout.

Who says? Square tube is stiffer in bending, and thats the relevant load on a control arm.

I didn't think aluminum was that expensive...what would it cost to buy a hunk of aluminum to CNC a set of charlie arms?
I was just at a machine shop i use every now and them. I saw there a piece of aluminium; big enough from which you can CNC a set of arms. They told me that "block" of alumium is worth of 1000€...

Any links or pic's? How much do they charge for something like that?
I'm happy with my RacersEdge ones...new ones that is. Karl did the right thing by me but good luck Sharky too.

Markus Blazak's arms are square tubing and work very nicely.
