Default Cracks in oil pan??

Is it normal to have cracks in the oil pan?
my oil pan looks like itīs leaking from one crack
the cracks looks like itīs arised due to old aluminium???

Did you hit something with it?

Most oil leaks seem to come from old gaskets/seals. Others may have heard different but I've never seen one simply crack from old age.

Love those wheels on your car btw!

no i didnīt hit something.

i just found the cracks when i was removing the crossover pipe for welding a crack in that.

I believe those are casting marks, those bellypans are full of them

There was a thread (old) regarding a rennlister having a serious crack, but i don't remember what was the reason behind that.
