I am trying to complete ivai's 944 turbo electronics.
He purchased a used Vitesse MAF, harness & chips nd has no instructions for its setup or testing.
Does anyone have the literature for the MAF?
There is a single red wire exiting the harness that must need to be connected to something.

Does this wire go to power?
Does it go to 12V or 5V?
How can I check the MAF for proper operation?

Yes, the red wire is for power. I believe it is 12V but I don't have the docs with me at work. Reccomended source is at the diag port up near the firewall on the driver's side. Connect it to the + terminal on the diag port.

The person who beat me to the answer might give better advice on it than I can. It always amazes me how helpful John is. He specifically says that he will only support products purchased direct from him but I've never heard of him turning any request for help away.
