I just tried putting in the stock injectors.. it runs now. I'm only idling it, so A/F isn't a concern..

When you say "do you have the DME set to the size of the injectors" are you referring to the FQS?

Vitesse MAF chips that are about 3 years old or so.. bought them (along with the Turbo and MAF) second-hand from another Rennlist member.

Ok what size injectors? Looks like the chip is programmed for a injector size, better contact John and see what he has to say, Guru chips allowed you to change the size of the injector with the switch. Here is a link to look at.

Vitesse does different things with the FQS, depending on what software you have. Ask whoever you bought them from for some documentation, or send John an email. Sounds like you're on the right track .....

These injectors were working in another car, with this chip and maf.

I tried every FQS setting (turn off car, switch FQS to another setting), and that made no difference with the larger injectors.

Tried running 12 volts through each injector, they do in fact "click" open.. maybe they're not working very well when under 3 BAR pressure.. but not sure.

If the chip maps were setup for 2.5bar FPR, the car would run rich and idle like crap. Now, if you went back to stock injectors with this chip, the duty cycle would be shorter then a stock injector (I am guess it was setup for 55#)but the fuel preasure would be higher and these would tend to cancel out. Also, pulling one injector plug off would have reduced the amount of fuel available in the intake.

Ah.. that could be it.. Why is this? Seems like more fuel pressure would cause more fuel/richer.
