Default Is It Worth It?

Ok, so I have been looking for a "project" 951 for a while, and I think I may have found one. I'm going to post the guys ad here. I'm just wondering if its worth it. The car has been sitting for a while. Anything that goes wrong from sitting besides exhaust, brakes, and paint? I'm thinking it will maybe cost me 1, 2k to get it back to good condition if I do the work myself?

1987 turbo porsche 160k black leather interior very clean, red ext. paint little faided from sitting for 4 yrs.new yokohamo tires ....5 speed, very clean body .needs a feul pump and slave cyl.can hear run ....selling very cheep ,,2500 firm

Thanks

it would be a good deal if you can work on it yourself.

Belts will definately need to be done. I would be hesitant to run it much if its just been sitting this whole time.

I would buy it. I agree the belts should be your first project though.

If you havnt committed yet.. I have a project 951 for sale in jersey.. Car runs and drives.. 121k on the clock. Needs new tires.. a little body work.. and new belts. I am looking to get 6k.. a bit more then that car.. but it is probably also a more solid car.

I'd love to, but 6k is a little out of my price range
unless of course you would want to trade for a 1986 mazda rx-7 turbo with low miles and many mods/options (also for sale, shameless self promotion)
