Well I know. But I was thinking the supra thing may be a red herring just because they have a neighbor who has one so the wife may be just using it as a descriptive because its familiar...

No, it can't be De Tomaso, the emblem isn't an arrow pointing down plus there is no De Tomaso with a rear end similar to a supra.

Can you ask your wife to be more specific, i think itd be a lot easier to identify if you gave us styling cues and if it was front or mid engined (easy to tell by the shape of the car).

nah... she knows the car too well....... and we were on the phone for awhile when she was looking at it in traffic.

I looked on a couple of databases of cars made by companies starting with t and found nothing close to the emblem you described except the tesla. It could be a riced out supra with some aftermarket emblem of something

It was a rebadged Hyundai Tiburon. In overseas markets, the Tiburon is marketed as the Tuscani, and has the logo shown below.
