Does anyone know anything about these cars? I saw it for sale here and then noticed it's now also on eBay:

I exchanged a couple of emails with the owner, who said that he imported it from Japan and that it's European model with sunroof delete, no cruise control, and one other "delete" that I can't recall. Strangely, it still has A/C. Is this a rare bird? I'd never heard anything about such a model until this one came up.

So, "Club Sport" is a misnomer? It's not a "Club Sport" as in the later 968's--lightened, stripped down models?

Its just a sunroof delete 951.

Not a Club Sport, but kind of an interesting car here in the US (since we dont see very many gray market 944s). Looks like no airbags, no cruise, no 10 speaker and EQ option (on all US 88TS and 89T cars), along with the sunroof delete. But has power steering and power windows.
