Negative. Airbags were only standard on AMERICAN market cars between 1987 and 1989.
There are many Canadian, European and Japanese 944 turbo S cars without airbags at all. Additionally the 944 turbo continued to sell in 1990 and 1991 outside of America. You can still find a few 1990 951's in Canada.

first thing I noticed: not a Turbo S, unless for some reason overseas they came with '86 steering wheels and non-air bag dashes.

Same car and same driver , he is a rennlister and posted earlier in this thread.
high 7 and low 8 BTG is fast by any standars.
