Default Could someone measure headstud height for me

I would like the installed factory-installed headstud height above the block.
These would need to be the original studs.
I would appreciate an actual measurement, not something read on Rennlist.
Thanks guys.

73mm is about the average. I've had two other blocks, one was 74mm and one had three different height, 72, 73 and 74. I've used 73mm for the past three builds, gets you about 2-3 threads out of the factory or aftermarket head nut/washer.

Did you ship the pan yet?

I just measured my spare TurboS motor. Factory original, never touched and got 72mm.

Thanks guys.

Ski - yes.

Very interesting that the turbo S's use more of the existing block threads.
I have heard this before.
Interesting.

My (non-S) factory block measured just over 72mm as well.

Does anybody know why Porsche doesn't provide any specification about head studs height ?
