Chip Question
I have Star Chip (Super Chip) fitted to my 944TS 1990.
1. Question, Anyone here knows anything about them? This is what was done to my car; plastic restrictor removed from - compressor line boost control valve , boost control valve wiring - on all the time, aluminum restrictor fitted to - compressor hose intercooler pipe and spark plugs gap reset to 0.028.
2. Question. They boost earlier then stock. They start at 3000rpm versus stock 4000rpm and they really start to roll off at about 5500rpm. Is this the same with your USA versions of chips.
They claim 14-15 PSI how would this equate to power hike realistically (they claim 30% but I don't buy this) bearing in mind stock 250bhp engine? And also what would realistically that be rwhp?
Also on the ocasion I get a pop and flames coming out of exhaust on OWT - normal?
