Default Pristine '87 with 21K miles for sale....

(I posted this over on the "For Sale" forum also, but thought I would also post it here, home of the greatest 951 aficianados in the world... I hope this doesn't violate any Rennlist rules...if so, John just DELETE this!!)

I've posted a couple of feeler ads on my car and have generated some serious interest. I want to get offer OVER $17K for the car and have received a couple. I don't want to hang up prospective buyers but I would also like to realize as much as I can from this car. IMHO it *has* to be one of the cleanest, stock '87's left in existence. It's certainly the cleanest I've ever seen up close and personal. It's a car that would appeal to a collector or someone interested in preserving a really, really nice example of these cars. There are plenty of nice 951's out there that are good candidates for mods, upgrades, etc. but very, very few original cars in this kind of condition.

I put 50 + photos up on a site called "My Photo Album." I'm not sure if I can insert a link here, but I'll try. There are actually two links: one to the "album" and one to the "slide show." The pix are the same in both formats.

I'd like to hear if these links don't work properly. And feel free to email me with any questions or comments.

At that price I am almost tempted from UK! If it had been an 89 car I would probably be arranging shipping to UK now! Haven't seen one with that few miles in UK.

The wheels hate you too. I have to say, they look a hell of a lot better on the early offset cars - they have much more of a deep dish look in the rear. But then I'm somewhat partial...

I didn't say Hate I said Date(d) but I actually...they do look better on early offset. My car had them from the PO, first mod I did but I did sell them for $900
Then I got rid of that light kit in the back and the purplish window tint.

from the PO, 62k miles

but this is what sold me on the car...and the clean engine and full records.

Hey Bill,

Thanks for correcting the links... I wonder why they worked there and not I here? I just cut and pasted them. Oh, well...thanks for fixing it.

One of the P.O.'s did the speakers. Not to my particular taste, but I'm not going to tear them out either.
