Hey all,
I was thinking of getting the fabspeed 3.0inch cat delete and catback exhaust. I have been searching on here about the exhaust and found that some people experienced boost pressure increases of 2 to 3psi, due mainly in part to the cat delete.
My car is completely stock engine wise (not even aftermarket chips) would it be safe for me to run the full exhaust considering I don't have a boost controller to turn the boost down after the exhaust is installed? Im pretty sure if I ran only the catback I wouldnt have to worry, but the cat bypass pipe seems like it would increase the boost to much on a stock car, what do you think?

You will see a bit more boost. I saw 1 lb incease (witheverything else stock).
Biggest is way faser spool-up. After my 3" fabspeed (no cat) install I was pleased from the first test drive.... YOU"LL LOVE IT!!
I think you would be fine with stock chip so long as that is your only mod. DON"T pump up the boost though or you will go lean!

As long as your signal from your air flow meter isn't maxed out (and, it won't be), it will not matter if you run more boost; your stock engine management will compensate.
I'd be wondering, however, if maybe you might run into an overboost situation with the stock chips.

So far the consensus is yes.
