Default Nice 951 on Ebay

Hey guys, I saw this 951 on Ebay and thought someone might be interested in it. It looks like a nice car, and it's coming from the origonal owner. Low miles, too! It has some tasteful mods and might find a good home with a Rennlister!

Very nice, but a bit steep in price.

Steep? Yes, but if someone can get into contact with him outside of Ebay, maybe they can get him to come down. Altho I can't deny the fact that I'd like to see him get that much

P.S. 944th post baby!

Very nice car and some mods too. Low miles is attractive as well. But he wants $24K for a 1987? He's over priced for the market.

I noticed that one, too. Didn't want to fill up the thread with Ebay auctions tho. I do think our cars look beautiful in black tho! Anyone else agree?

What was wrong with the car? Or is he just dreaming a little too high?

I'm not going to trash on the car, because that's not my style. But I could list a few things. Anyway, it's just my two cents that the car is over-priced. It's nice, but over-priced. In short, that is a dealer who doesn't know what the have, and are hoping that some "uneducated" and Porsche lover will die for it, mostly due to mileage and mods. That's what they are "hoping" for. So far, their strategy isn't working. Remember dealers have margins they want to meet, so, they jack the price up. Most, not all, don't have a clue as to the real 944 market place. And I don't expect them to be experts like us. So that's it. And what, you didn't like the Vin Diesel pic? Dude, he is stylin big time!

My b-n-law bought a 32k mile 87, sport seats, ABS, no LSD, Euro fog lights, APE MAF, nice looking 18" rims with new tires for $16k three years ago. The red one at Renn Sport was 16.9 - both of these are over priced.

If you want to spend that much, there is a black 2.8L, street or track (roll cage and a/c delete) for 28k, engine built by Pat Williams - it hauls A$$ - if it hasn't sold in the past week.
