I did away with my AutoMeter boost gauge and use the Blitz as my primary boost gauge now.
I love the digital output. I like having the controller at my finger tips, just in case I need to raise
boost on the fly. I only wish it were black, but the price was right via eBay......oh well I'll live with it.

No question, the Blitz solenoid unit is up to the harsh environment under the hood of a 951.

I know this is an old thread, but mwc951, how did you mount the solenoid? Anyone else running this system have pictures of how they mounted all of its components?

I use a Blitz SBC-ID Color, and couldn't be happier.

Its easy to setup, and use.

Installed pics:

Boost box.

Controller mounted.

Very nice instal. Did you have to drill to mount the solenoid? I want to achieve a look like that on the inside. How did you make the plate to hold the unit?

I have the e-01 it's pretty easy to use the manual is somewhat confusing but I have a lot of exp in this area. they have an auto setup that you make a few runs and it will set itself up then fine tune from there nice screen plus it will datalog 3 other channels for you IE boost wideband rpm to help make tuning easier to boost settings changeable at the remote one normal and a overtake setting when need more.

Older style Profec with the HUGE solenoid. Has ALWAYS worked perfectly. the newer one's just suck. My boost locks in wherever I set it. Always. Buy a used one. It should be the best controller you've ever bought.

Quite a few people swear by Blitz EBCs, from what I've read in my research.

Hey I'm sorry, but can someone tell me the advantages of an EBC vs. an MBC?

More precise, offer more features such as an alarm for overboost and overboost protection, etc...

I'm quite happy with my AVC-R. The only complaint I'd have is that it doesn't show in PSI or Bar. Instead it's kg/cm2.
