Well folks....
John D. is a great guy and he has this forum for all of us to enjoy. He doesn't ask for much in return, but one of the few things he asks is that you not use a forum he is responsible for to post your boasting about breaking the law. This forum is read by many, including Porsche. It wouldn't take much to shut it down if it got out of hand. Is it really asking too much to take this elsewhere?

Last time I checked, it was breaking the law to modify your vehicle (smog). I guess that means we should not post any more technical information on upgrades then.
So to start off this hole new leaf...............
My car got some dust on it in the garage today. So I washed it.

Uh, oops. My bad. Three (3) figure speeds (measured in mph and not kph) except for that one guy who blew past a cop at or near terminal velocity, which in the case of his modded 951 was a pretty stout terminal velocity. Not that I'd ever deviate from Rennlist orthodoxy and countenance such a politically incorrect thing. Ever. Honest.
(BTW, the cop did not bother to even try and turn around to give chase, as he surely knew that would have been pointless. Thought you'd want to know.)

Light number 4 turned green and in about 1/4 mile he was about 5 cars behind me and suddenly did the turn off and escape tactic before hitting the next light. Too bad an old 86 turbo worth about 1/5 of his car took it to his butt like I did. It's good to be humble and make the suckers mumble.
Why do donuts seem to be a recurring theme lately???

It's okay, Dash01;
you probably got it mixed up with six-figure income you need for the modding and maintenance on our cars.
And yeah, I probably shouldn't post about losing a cop one early morning (crazy story).

I am confused. Isn't this "elsewhere"? Where else should we talk about our cars performance and brag on our exploits? Maybe we could find an online Porsche forum somewhere that is full of like-minded enthusiasts ...hmmm.
Seriously, its going to happen and I think everyone here, well almost everyone, has the maturity to reckognize the difference between a spirited run on an open highway and weaving in and out of school zone traffic.

That's nothing. I raced a cup of coffee with a 944 turbo between my legs.
I won.

Were you sure he was racing you and/or getting on the throttle 100%??
