Its a father and son that own and race those two. They'r awesome cars, they're on a thread somewhere on here.
The Gulf paint job isn't being done as a 'never before' kind of thing but more along the lines of honoring what the colors mean. And the car you posted up does that quite beautifully, although my scheme will be slightly different.
