Some companies are very strict on shipping anything with any chance of retaining a micron of flammable residue, at least internationally. Save yourself some time and check with them first rather than going through the hassle of crating it up, driving it to their depot, and then uncrating it in front of them, and then crating it again when they decided not to ship it. This is what Evil 944 went through trying to ship me some parts anyway.

Ok well time for some updates!
This last few weeks has been very intense... between a messy breakup, getting a concussion in a boxing match, my daily driver getting totalled, moving out into my own house, then moving back because my roomate was secretly a drug dealer and wanted for attempted murder... well you get the idea.
Of course that doesnt mean I havent found time for the car
I have gone ahead and put some goodies on the old motor (still in the car) to keep myself happy.. The vitesse MAF and the exhaust are great! Having a few random electrical issues that have been mostly sorted out, and dispite having been out of a bit of money over the last few weeks I have been making progress.
The turbo is an issue of availability but again Im in no hurry.
Just need to get my savings back on track and I should be doing ok with everything else.
I picked up some yokahama AVS sports and Im loving those (just not loving the price )
Sorry for the long absence! Ill be moving forward with some other things shortly...

I have seen Broadfoot Racing mentioned many times in this thread. I can't give you an endorsement for his work as the job he did for me is still sitting inside waiting for spring. His communcation skills are non-existant and he will finish when he finishes. I was told 8 weeks, but it took 12 months with no updates. In fact the only time I ever spoke with him was to give him the work. It was one of the most frustrating experiences of my life. That said, if you are in no hurry, he remains an alternative. I believe he is still in business as his website has been getting updated. My car is the most recent shown... David Bruno. I had an extensive rebuild done and practically nothing original remains, except the block (now a 3.0 liter) and the head (majorly reworked). We will see if the job was good this spring. By the way, I chose hime because he was a total deal!!! He hand made a 4 to 1 ceramic coated 321 Stainless exhaust header and installed it as part of the job and I saved at least $1500 on this part alone.

Talk to Seth at Technical Dimensions in Jacksonville. Great guy; a bit slow, but what shop isnt? His work is very professional and he's got a wealth of knowledge. Had I moved back to J-ville I would have had him build my motor. Complete rebuild with new alusil, titanium springs and retainers and performance cam for $5k.
