Default Lindsey Boost Enhance Install

I just installed a LIndsey Boost Enhance in my Turbo S. I think I did it correctly however, there is a kink in the hose. Is that ok?

Here are some pics:

Ooooooer, that is a bit 'kinky'

You could do with just positioning it a couple of inches towards the front of the car and cable tieing it in place to the fuel rail. That should straighten out the kink and hold it in place.

Thanks. I did that and it seems better. There is still a little kink there. NOt too bad the hose is jut not round at that point.

Why not rotate the banjo bolt downward so the LBE lies next to the head and pigtail <loop> the hose to the metal line?

So you are saying that the LBE should be below the manifold?

Locate it next to the head temp sensor, I've always been big on a clean visual of the engine bay.

Here is my new LBE installed...

Here is a better view...

Is this how most people install them? Seems goofy with that big red and blue thing laying on the manifold...

This is how I did it: after testing and adjusting boost, I put some black shrink tubing aroundthe LBE and installed it under the manifold. Almost invisible....
Note that the output hose is making a nice even loop w/o kinks.
I hate that rice-boy look of random blue/red pieces in an engine compartment where everything else is original Porsche
