Default Oil in coolant?

86 951 rebuilt engine, turbo, head. Less than 10 miles we have noticed oil in the coolant. My mechanice thinks it is the turbo. The turbo rebuilder says that is very rare in his experience and to look elsewhere. Any experience with this problem?

The first thing I would check is the seal in the oil filter console. I agree it is probably not the turbo.

The other options are a headgasket or (very rare) a cracked block/head.
