Yes, some vendors wouldn't do that.

Keep up the good work!!!

Let me know when your ready and I will help take MAXXTune, Inc. public. Think about it, you already have 200+ products out there in only this small community.....get tapped into the broad "automotive performance" world (since you are able to tune for more than just Porsche) and would be 20,000 with MAXX products inside of 3 years. Just make sure you have a vendor booth at SEMA next year.

Yes, at Disney and Sea World. And a friend of a friend at Universal.

Kinda hard to live in Orlando for any stretch of time and not meet someone people that work at or for the attractions.

Actually, my office is 10 min from the front gate to Universal Studios (Hard Rock, etc.)

Actually right in my area we've had a mild winter until last week when we got 3' of snow dumped on us. But it's in the 40s today, and on a warming trend so it should be getting better. Never visited AZ, always wanted to. I'm planning on coming out and staying a few days.

Russell, do you have a picture of the new switch for the Maxtronic? Now that they are shipping, how long will the Rennlist price last?

I've attached a pic. The battery is going on my camera so it's not the best quality. I laid out three of them at different angles. You have down/up buttons and an LED display, also the 6' cable that attaches the switch to the Maxtronic.

Promotional pricing for the Maxtronic, and MaxTune is in effect until 4/1/07

Maxtronic 250.00
Maxtronic with 951MAX image 474.00
Maxtronic with S/S2 image 400.00
MaxTune 149.00
MaxTune with Maxtronic 399.00
MaxTune with Maxtronic and 951MAX image 623.00
MaxTune with Maxtronic and S/S2 image 549.00
Fee to load your image into Maxtronic including S/H 35.00

Never having to open the DME again, priceless....

So are you saying that if I have a chip I want to load into Maxtronic, you'll charge $35 for that? What if I have more than one chip I want to load in? What happened to loaning a eprom reader/programmer for $100 deposit?

Flat fee of 35.00 for any number of chips you want imaged. The loaner reader is still an available option, but not everyone will want to wait for it or use it, so I thought I would offer the service as a convenience.

Do you think 35.00 is too much?

Russell

Just to clarify, the fee would be to read a chip you currently have, send you the file or put it in your MaxByte directory, and send you your chip back. If you purchase or have purchased one of my chips, that image will of course be loaded into the Maxtronic prior to shipping at no charge.

I figured some people will not want to mess with the chip reader, but want to keep their existing chip. I think 35.00 is a nominal fee, but am open to suggestions.

Regards,
Russell

Just an update on this, the chip image transfer service is not something I really want to do, it is a convenience. But I can see the logistics of the loaner reader making many trips around the country and many people waiting on it. So I've entered into an agreement with a fellow lister to perform this task. His name is Michael Brown, you would contact him via my Website and pay for the service via the website as well. He will then contact you with shipping information. When he receives your chips (up to 7) he will read them, email you the images and upload them to your online storage area on MaxByte. Then send your chips back to you with a quick turnaround.

I also updated the website a bit the past couple of days, it should be a little more intuitive. And as always the Support Forums are always open to the public for information and sharing of knowledge.

Again the Maxtronic promotion runs through the end of this month, I won't be on any more sticky threads but will make a general announcement as products are introduced. MaxTune will be officially released next week when I finish the documentation.

Also, 1985.5-87 NA, and 1988NA chips will go on sale later this month.

Thanks again for your continued support!

Regards,
Russell
