Yeah, I played around with the stack in Dave M.'s car, I was not overly impressed. It did the job well but I wasn't wild about the tach.

The car is due back from the blast shop on Tuesday I should have more pics of the rear flares tomorrow.

This is the recent purchase for a fuel cap solution. The hole will be closed around the cap, its brand new from Porsche for a 997

For now i've turned my obsessive compulsive idea fidgiting to the interior.....

No carpet at all, anywhere, just satin black paint. The only fabric is going to be the harnesses, dash, console, A pillars & door panels.
Speaking of consoles: for the picture's sake I didn't change the color of the sides of the console but in reality it will be all covered with black alcantara deleting the radio, cubby, ash tray & arm rest.

By itself for a better view (the shift boot will also be black alcantara):

Forgot to mention, Robert at the 928 Leather Shop has been fantastic in the design process of the console/interior. These are all pretty much custom pieces and he's making it a breeze to do.

Luis........ This thread is for the archives and future Rennlisters

To all: I was contacted by David Wilson of Intercity Lines (President) concerning my experience in getting the car shipped. All I can say is that I am very thankful that there are such individuals as him to address the needs of his customers. I have already spoken with Bob again to set up shipping of the car to the rest of her destinations due to the fact that Intercity Lines Inc. has such dedication to excellent customer serivice. I HIGHLY recommend their services to anyone transporting a car.

Nice to see Intercity really cares, your experience was the first "negative" I'd heard.
