Toyo R888
Its tyre time for my 91 951S and I am thinking of going the Toyo R888 way instead of Michelin Cups. Car is a daily driver now, and I will also be attending a few trackdays this year with it.
I've heard some good words about it, but none from a 951 driver. Anyone tried these on his car ?

Will be going on to my 3rd set next season. Great tyre but I don't think they're available in the U.S. yet? Depending on what your use is. My experience is that they get to heat very quickly but don't go off anytime soon. If you are going to be using them over long races that's where I can't advise you although I've done say 20 laps of Eastern Creek and had no worries + great value for money.

I live in Athens Greece, (EUROPE !!!) and they are immediately available.
Will be mainly used on the street, and occasional track days. Heard they are pretty sticky.
Merry Christmas BTW from this part of the world!!!!

Yes I saw that you lived in Greece but I meant that you probably wouldn't get too many responses from the US guys here on the 'List.
I love the tyres and I want to use them all the time although they're expensive to use primarily as a road tyre if that's what you want. If it doesn't matter then go for it because once you've use R-spec you never want to go back to normal street tyres that's for sure!

Yes I have but not on the track, just on the road. They are still good but I find that in my car I have to take it easier for fear that once the boost kicks in you tend to go sideways! But generally very good. You won't be sorry.

I understand exactly what you mean. I, too, was not thinking of going nuts on the wet. Just be able to drive off boost if rain starts falling on the way back from a track day. It wouldn't be like slicks, right ?

Yes definitely closer to slicks than street. Fantastic for the track though and equally so for spirited road driving.
