Fancy Smancy Coatings

Jay, since Swain is located in Scottsville, NY I estimate a day to get there and a day back to you. And a couple days turn around within their shop. I live in the Midwest and I sent mine off on a Saturday and had it back by Friday. It is a very functional coating at 0.015" thick with outstanding temp drops.

I used Swain for the headers on my Formula Ford and found the coating very durable. Didn't look shiny like the Jet-Hot, but cooled externally fairly quickly. They've been involved in several magazine articles with before and after readings showing an improvement. All the articles I've read state an improvement with various parts coated, the question is always 'is the improvement worth the cost?'. The conclusion is up to the reader.
They used to have a turbo package, but I couldn't find it on their website.

If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay to have yours coated?
Jay, you are welcome man!

With the Callaway turbo conversion they originally placed the turbo on the passanger side of the car right off the exhaust manifold. Hence, the log style manifold you see in the picture. I see boost very early and insta-torque when the load pedal is pushed. I hope to get it dynoed this spring
