tool, give Mike Lindsey a call next week to confirm the 16x6 or 16x7 donor Fuchs. I think it's 16 x 6 but double check me.

Those aero mirrors mounted on the flag bases don't look quite right (otherwise the car is a hottie! ).

Love those 3-pc Fuchs. Someone will need to confirm with Lindsey whether or not they fit over big 951S/928S4 calipers (or larger). I have heard conflicting stories regarding caliper clearance.

Also the ride height looks a bit high to me, but the wheels do look nice. I would wonder about clearance for bigger brakes but I guess that comes down to the rim and offset?

I know that the 911 Fuchs, which is what the 16X6 donor Fuchs would have to be, hit the face of the larger calipers with the backs of the "petals". No matter what the dimensions of the custom rim halves happen to be, they would not help alleviate this issue. I would think that you would have to add extra material to the back of the lugs area on the 16X6 Fuchs center in order to push it out further from the caliper face. I hope that makes sense.

333,
The ride height was not too high for a turbo flare and you are correct, with regards to the offset. I have a complete 968 hub setup that I may use, which in the long run would allow the car to use a wider selection of wheels. Read that as newer wheels from the 993 w/o spacers.
It looks like you too like the bigger wheel package!

So.......................you are saying that these wheels with the donor 6X16 911 Fuchs centers fit over big (951S/928S4 and larger) calipers with no modification necessary to the lug-seat area of the centers and no additional hub spacers?

The big question should be " how much do a 8",9",10" and 11" rim wheigh?"

No mine was just a visual observation. I thought there looked to be too much space between arch and tyre and this looked exacerbated by the higher profile looking tyres or the smaller centres. Again no criticism just an observation.
